We are a privately-owned language school managed by qualified professionals located in the city of Douala, Cameroon.
We offer a wide range of quality English language courses including General and Business English, Examination Preparation for the IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and Holiday programmes for adults and young learners, all taught by our qualified, carefully selected and dedicated teachers.
Other services we provide include: Translation, Interpretation, Teacher Training, Private Tutoring, Studies Abroad.
We are also an ETS Global authorised test centre for the TOEIC, TFI and TOEFL ITP tests.

Our name
Bebel, Managing Director, Teacher, Founder
Bebel understands the challenges of learning a new language. In addition to his position of Managing Director, Bebel takes a keen interest in teaching. Bebel has over 10 years’ experience in the management of professional and language schools. Bebel is also a professional translator and interpreter.
Bebel holds a Master’s degree in Translation, a Post-graduate diploma in Interpretation and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics.
When not working, Bebel enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball.

Jaques, Teacher
Jaques is the head teacher at the centre. He plans courses, organises classes and oversees the students’ academic welfare. Eugene is dedicated to ensuring that PLA learners are taken care of and progress as quickly as possible on courses that meet their learning needs.
Jaques has previously held the role of Academic Director with some renowned language schools and has been a training consultant with many companies. Eugene holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Letters.
When not working, Jaques enjoys watching movies and listening to music.

Demele, Administrative Assistant
Demele is the Administrative Assistant at PLA and is the main point of contact for learners. Anne’s friendly and enthusiastic personality makes our learners feel welcome and relaxed right from day one.
When not working, Anne enjoys reading and traveling.
